Sposini are happy to accept orders via e-mail or telephone if you do not live locally or you are unable to visit us. Please note, because of the nature of our work the bespoke service will be limited, however we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Q. How far in advance do I need to order my wedding stationery?
We recommend you order your stationery six to eight months before the wedding date. It is particularly important to order early if your wedding is in the high season of June to August.
Q. When should I send my invitations?
We recommend sending your invitations three to four months before your wedding. Bear in mind that if your wedding falls on a bank holiday, week day or your guests need to arrange accommodation, it is advisable to send them out sooner. Alternatively, if you wish to announce your wedding date early you can send Save the Date cards - normally a year to eighteen months prior to the wedding.
Q. How many invites do I need?
You will need one invite per couple or family. It is best to order a few extra for last minute guests. Don't worry if you need extras after collection Sposini can supply you with individual invitations without the need to order in large amounts.
Q. Are matching envelopes included?
All of our invitations come with matching envelopes, as do the A7 size RSVPs. You may order extras if required. We do have a selection of coloured, pearlised and brocade envelopes, these do incur an extra charge. The exception to this is our Exclusive Boxed Collection as they are boxed.
Q. What should my RSVP date be and do I need to send my guests a reply card?
Two months before the wedding is sufficient. This allows enough time to chase up any guests who have not replied and to give final numbers to your venue. Sposini do recommend sending a reply card with your invitation as this speeds up guests responses. You can also ask guests if any specific meals are required, such as vegetrian or special dietery requirements via this card. We can also incorporate menu options if you are giving your guests a choice of meal.
Q. Can I change the invitation to suit my colour scheme?
Yes! All of our designs can be tailored to your colour scheme and theme at no extra cost.
Q. What if I have my own design ideas?
We can accommodate your ideas into any of our designs, free of charge. However if you wish to use your own design, we offer a commissioned service where we can create a new invitation just for you - this does however incur an extra set up charge.
Q. I need to give my guests information and directions, how do I do this?
Our pocketfold collection is the perfect solution, these come with RSVPs and Guest Information cards included within the price. However, RSVPs and Information cards are available with any of our designs, these are priced individually.
Q. We don't want presents, but we would like to ask for cash/vouchers/charity donations, how do I do this without offending?
Again our pocketfold collection is the perfect solution, the Guest Information card included is ideal for adding a polite note or poem to inform your guests of your wishes. If you wish for a separate poem card these are also available. It's a great idea to provide your guests with a postal box at the venue to post their gift on the day. These are available in cream or white decorated and personalised to match your stationery and colour scheme.
Q. I have terrible handwriting, will you print our guest names?
Sposini offers a guest name printing service which starts at £25.00 for up to 100 items. We can accommodate any amounts. This is offered on invitations and place names. For added luxury we also offer printed Calligraphy, the elegance and beauty of handwritten at a fraction of the cost, prices start from £35.00 for up to 100 items.
Q. Do I need Orders of Service, and if so how many?
You will need an Order of Service if your ceremony is taking place in church. Sposini recommend one Order of Service between two persons, don't forget yourselves and the vicar! The information for the Order of Service is required two months before the wedding, although we do recommend placing your order at the same time as your invites.
Q. My venue supply me with Place Cards, Menus and Table Plan, do I need to order these from you?
Some venues offer this service as part of their package, however you need to bear in mind that they will not match the rest of your stationery or theme. We always advise our clients to see what the venue has to offer, if they are happy with what they provide, then by all means go with that - try and imagine your tables set out and finished, we find that this helps to come to a decision. All of our stationery accessories are optional, so you choose what you want or need.
Q. Can I order samples?
Sposini do not offer or provide samples due to the bespoke nature of our work. However, we are very proud to offer all our clients a free full set of proofs for you to approve*, these will be done on the card and paper used in the finished product printed with all your details.
*Table Plans: we do not provide a proof of this item as it is a one off!
Note: Proofs are despatched after your order has been placed. You are not obliged to continue with the order should you wish to cancel, however a small cancellation charge will apply.
